The iTPA Inner Circle Member Only Website is the exclusive member-only community where the best, most relevant tennis-specific information is stored, cultivated and disseminated. The content on this website is for iTPA Members (Certified Status or Members who have paid and are scheduled to take exam) or iTPA Affiliate / Fellow members only. Instructions on how to register for the different membership levels is below. For TPT and CTPS levels, please register and complete payment. After successful payment, you will be able to set up username and password for the membership site, and a code to access the respective course exam will be emailed to you within 72 hours. You have 12 weeks from the date you registered to take the exam. You’ll still have access to the iTPA Inner Circle for 1 year after registering even if you do not pass the exam. Please note that TPT or CTPS Designation is only given to Members after successfully passing the online exam, not after registering. If you do not pass the exam, your membership to the iTPA Inner Circle will expire after 1 year. For Fellow Status (FITPA), please apply on the FITPA page of the iTPA main website (www.itpa-tennis.org). Once approved, a log in and password will be sent to you.

Affiliate Member: (Non-Certified)

TPT or CTPS Registration:
Click on the links below to register and pay for each respective designation. Within 24 hours, iTPA staff will email you instructions for taking the 100% online exam, in addition to the Workbook & Study Guide. 12 weeks is given to complete the test. Certification is only achieved after receiving a passing score of >70%.  As soon as you register, you’ll have access for a year (regardless of achieving certification) to exclusive member-only content and the latest industry data/news. Once a certified member, you can submit continuing education credits and renew your membership online each year by paying dues. Yearly membership fees each year are $89, and every other year a $49 re-certification fee applies and will be billed at year-end.

Certification offers 3 distinct categories:


Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT):
This certification is level 1 and should be maintained by tennis coaches who also perform the physical training of their athletes, those entering or relatively new to the profession or those looking to add tennis-specific programming to their current training/specialist offerings. 100% online exam. Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (CTPS):
This certification is the gold standard in the industry – every strength & conditioning coach, athletic trainer, personal trainer, physical therapist, elite tennis coach or other specialist working with tennis players should obtain. 100% online exam. Master Tennis Performance Specialist (MTPS): This certification is the highest level in the industry, and CTPS designation is required before obtaining MTPS. MTPS will be offered through in-person workshops in late 2012/2013. For information will be provided soon.
